December 2011 LexisPSL E-burst

Dear Lexis®PSL subscriber,

This newsletter brings you up to date with the latest improvements in your LexisNexis® online services, this edition is specifically about LexisPSL. The Practice Areas mentioned below are subscription dependent. Please contact your account manager or call us on 0845 370 1234 if you would like to discuss adding any of these modules to your existing subscription.

Improved Cross Practice Area Search

We have now introduced functionality enabling you to search across all of your practice areas simultaneously, saving you time when you’re searching for information which may cross several practice areas or if you’re unsure where to start.

It’s as easy as ticking a box from the search on the homepage if you want to extend your search across all of the modules you subscribe to.

On the results page, you can view the practice areas where that content belongs and can click through to see that document in the practice area you want. Do let us know what you think by emailing lexispsl@lexisnexis.co.uk

Introducing easier searching to LexisPSL

LexisPSL now allows you to locate documents such as precedents without knowing the exact title, so a search like shop lease wil,l for example, retrieve documents entitled lease of a shop. It couldn’t be easier. Synonyms are also taken care of so you can feel confident you won’t miss anything.

LexisPSL Personal Injury - Redesign of the Quantum Search Form

We’ve now consolidated our quantum search forms, enabling you to search by keyword and injury simultaneously. This will savr you time and give you better results.

Easy access to our legal blog - The Wadester blawg

We’ve now added a link to the Wadester blawg on the LexisPSL homepage. The blog contains ideas, opinions and debate related to the legal sector and takes a fresh look at the latest stories and adds its own spin. Why not have a look at the blawg and let us know what you think by posting a comment?

Top Tip – Viewing the full array of content on offer

With the ever expanding content set on LexisPSL, it can be hard to keep track of the full extent of your subscription. You’ll be presented with a full listing of topics on offer. Rest assured, this collection is constantly evolving and will continue to grow every week.
